⁸ And he who is to be cleansed ^(A)shall wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe himself in water, and he shall be clean. And after that he may come into the camp, but ^(B)live outside his tent seven days.

²⁵ and whoever carries any part of their carcass ^(A)shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

⁷ Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the ^(A)water of purification upon them, and ^(B)let them go with a razor over all their body, and wash their clothes and cleanse themselves.

¹⁴ I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of ^(A)the great tribulation. ^(B)They have washed their robes and ^(C)made them white ^(D)in the blood of the Lamb.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ ^(A)the faithful witness, ^(B)the firstborn of the dead, and ^(C)the ruler of kings on earth.

To ^(D)him who loves us and ^(E)has freed us from our sins by his blood ⁶ and made us ^(F)a kingdom, ^(G)priests to ^(H)his God and Father, to him be ^(I)glory and ^(J)dominion forever and ever. Amen.

²¹ Baptism, which corresponds to this, ^(A)now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but ^(B)as an appeal to God for a good conscience, ^(C)through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

^21 (A)And King Uzziah was a leper to the day of his death, and being a leper lived ^(B)in a separate house, for he was excluded from the house of the Lord. And Jotham his son was over the king's household, governing the people of the land.

¹⁴ But the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but ^(A)spit in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? Let her be ^(B)shut outside the camp seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.” ¹⁵ So Miriam ^(C)was shut outside the camp seven days, and the people did not set out on the march till Miriam was brought in again.

² “Command the people of Israel that they ^(A)put out of the camp everyone who is leprous^[a] or has ^(B)a discharge and everyone who is ^(C)unclean through contact with the dead. ³ You shall put out both male and female, putting them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camp, ^(D)in the midst of which I dwell.”
