³⁵ and he who owns the house comes and tells the priest, saying, ‘It seems to me that there is ^(A)some plague in the house,’

²⁶ Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, ^(A)for it is an ^[a]accursed thing.

^34 (A)And this thing was the sin of the house of Jeroboam, so as ^(B)to exterminate and destroy it from the face of the earth.

¹² In that day I will perform against Eli ^(A)all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. ^13 (B)For I have told him that I will ^(C)judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because ^(D)his sons made themselves vile, and he ^(E)did not ^[a]restrain them. ¹⁴ And therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house ^(F)shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.”

²¹ When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I ^[a]coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it.”
