² “This shall be the law of the leprous person for the day of his cleansing. ^(A)He shall be brought to the priest,

¹⁴ When he saw them he said to them, “Go and ^(A)show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed.

Jesus Cleanses a Leper

¹² While he was in one of the cities, ^(A)there came a man full of leprosy.^[a] And when he saw Jesus, he ^(B)fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, ^(C)if you will, you can make me clean.” ¹³ And Jesus^[b] stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him. ¹⁴ And he charged him ^(D)to tell no one, but “go and show ^(E)yourself to the priest, and ^(F)make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, ^(G)for a proof to them.”

Jesus Cleanses a Leper

^40 (A)And a leper^[a] came to him, imploring him, and ^(B)kneeling said to him, ^(C)“If you will, you can make me clean.” ⁴¹ Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, “I will; be clean.” ⁴² And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean. ⁴³ And ^(D)Jesus^[b] sternly charged him and sent him away at once, ⁴⁴ and said to him, ^(E)“See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, ^(F)show yourself to the priest and ^(G)offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, ^(H)for a proof to them.”

^2 (A)And behold, a leper^[a] came to him and ^(B)knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” ³ And Jesus^[b] stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. ⁴ And Jesus said to him, ^(C)“See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, ^(D)show yourself to the priest and ^(E)offer the gift that Moses commanded, ^(F)for a proof to them.”

⁹ “And if any man dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his consecrated head, then ^(A)he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.

⁵⁴ This is the law for any case of leprous disease: for ^(A)an itch, ⁵⁵ for ^(B)leprous disease in a garment or in ^(C)a house, ⁵⁶ and ^(D)for a swelling or an eruption or a spot, ⁵⁷ to ^(E)show when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law for leprous disease.

⁵⁹ This is the law for a case of leprous disease in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or the woof, or in any article made of skin, to determine whether it is clean or unclean.
