¹⁸ The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. ^(A)So the priest shall make ^[a]atonement for him before the Lord.

²⁶ And he shall burn all its fat on the altar, like ^(A)the fat of the sacrifice of the peace offering. ^(B)So the priest shall make ^[a]atonement for him concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

¹⁷ that ^(A)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(B)may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ^18 (C)the eyes of your ^[a]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is ^(D)the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

²¹ Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and ^(A)has anointed us is God, ²² who ^(B)also has sealed us and ^(C)given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

¹² And he ^(A)poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.

¹⁶ And he shall make restitution for the harm that he has done in regard to the holy thing, ^(A)and shall add one-fifth to it and give it to the priest. ^(B)So the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

^31 (A)He shall remove all its fat, ^(B)as fat is removed from the sacrifice of the peace offering; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a ^(C)sweet aroma to the Lord. ^(D)So the priest shall make atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

⁷ And you shall take the anointing ^(A)oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him.
