¹⁸ “When there is on the skin of one’s body a boil that has healed,^(A)

⁹ It shall become dust all over the land of Egypt and shall cause festering boils on humans and animals throughout the whole land of Egypt.”^(A)

[[²¹ Now Isaiah had said, “Let them take a lump of figs and apply it to the boil, so that he may recover.”^(A)

⁷ So the accuser^[a] went out from the presence of the Lord and inflicted loathsome sores on Job from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.^(A)

⁷ Then Isaiah said, “Bring a lump of figs. Let them take it and apply it to the boil, so that he may recover.”^(A)

²⁶ He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.”^(A)
