⁴ She shall then continue in the blood of her purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any ^[a]hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled.

Jesus Presented in the Temple

²² Now when ^(A)the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord ^23 (B)(as it is written in the law of the Lord, ^(C)“Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”),

¹³ And Haggai said, “If one who is ^(A)unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?”

So the priests answered and said, “It shall be unclean.”

²⁵ ‘If ^(A)a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, other than at the time of her customary impurity, or if it runs beyond her usual time of impurity, all the days of her unclean discharge shall be as the days of her customary impurity. She shall be unclean. ²⁶ Every bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity. ²⁷ Whoever touches those things shall be unclean; he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

²⁸ ‘But ^(B)if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
