³⁹ ‘And if any animal which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be ^(A)unclean until evening.

^16 (A)Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

^11 (A)‘He who touches the dead ^[a]body of anyone shall be unclean seven days.

⁷ And he who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

⁵ And whoever ^(A)touches his bed shall ^(B)wash his clothes and ^(C)bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

^40 (A)He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening.

³¹ These are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever ^(A)touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening.

²⁸ Whoever carries any such carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. It is unclean to you.
