² And fire ^(A)came out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.

^61 (A)But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord.

³⁵ And ^(A)fire came out from the Lord and consumed ^(B)the 250 men offering the incense.

²⁴ And ^(A)fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, ^(B)they shouted and ^(C)fell on their faces.

³ These are the names of the sons of Aaron, ^(A)the anointed priests, ^(B)whom he ordained to serve as priests. ^4 (C)But Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord when they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests in the lifetime of Aaron their father.

⁷ And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and ^(A)God struck him down there because of his error, and he died there beside the ark of God.
