¹⁰ You are to ^(A)distinguish between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean,

^26 (A)Her priests ^(B)have done violence to my law and ^(C)have profaned my holy things. ^(D)They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and ^(E)they have disregarded my Sabbaths, ^(F)so that I am profaned among them.

¹⁴ As obedient children, ^(A)do not be conformed to the passions ^(B)of your former ignorance, ¹⁵ but ^(C)as he who called you is holy, you also be holy ^(D)in all your conduct, ¹⁶ since it is written, ^(E)“You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

^47 (A)to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean and between the living creature that may be eaten and the living creature that may not be eaten.

^15 (A)To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and ^(B)unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both ^(C)their minds and their consciences are defiled.

^23 (A)They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and ^(B)show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.

^25 (A)You shall therefore separate the clean beast from the unclean, and the unclean bird from the clean. You shall not make yourselves detestable by beast or by bird or by anything with which the ground crawls, which I have set apart for you to hold unclean. ^26 (B)You shall be holy to me, ^(C)for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.
