³ ‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male ^(A)without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord.

^21 (A)But if there is a defect in it, if it is lame or blind or has any serious defect, you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God.

¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without ^[a]spot to God, ^(A)cleanse your conscience from ^(B)dead works ^(C)to serve the living God?

^19 (A)you shall offer of your own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats. ^20 (B)Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it shall not be acceptable on your behalf. ²¹ And ^(C)whoever offers a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, ^(D)to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it. ^22 (E)Those that are blind or broken or maimed, or have an ^[a]ulcer or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make ^(F)an offering by fire of them on the altar to the Lord. ²³ Either a bull or a lamb that has any limb ^(G)too long or too short you may offer as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

²⁴ ‘You shall not offer to the Lord what is bruised or crushed, or torn or cut; nor shall you make any offering of them in your land.

⁵ Your lamb shall be ^(A)without^[a] blemish, a male ^[b]of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.

⁸ Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), ⁹ then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, ^[a]O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. ^10 (A)By that will we have been ^[b]sanctified ^(B)through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

^27 (A)that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, ^(B)not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

⁷ So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, ^(A)not grudgingly or of ^[a]necessity; for ^(B)God loves a cheerful giver.
