La ley de las ofrendas de paz

”Si alguien ofrece su ofrenda como sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz(A), si la ofrece del ganado, sea macho o hembra, la ofrecerá sin defecto delante del Señor(B). Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de su ofrenda(C) y la degollará a la puerta de la tienda de reunión. Entonces los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón rociarán la sangre sobre el altar por todos los lados(D). El que ofrece el sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz, presentará una ofrenda encendida al Señor: la grasa que cubre las entrañas y toda la grasa que hay sobre las entrañas, los dos riñones con la grasa que está sobre ellos y sobre los lomos, y el lóbulo del hígado, que quitará con los riñones. Los hijos de Aarón lo quemarán en el altar(E), sobre el holocausto que está sobre la leña en el fuego(F). Es una ofrenda encendida de aroma agradable para el Señor(G).

”Pero si su ofrenda como sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz para el Señor es del rebaño, sea macho o hembra, sin defecto la ofrecerá(H). Si va a presentar un cordero como su ofrenda(I), lo ofrecerá delante del Señor(J). Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de su ofrenda(K) y la degollará delante de la tienda de reunión(L). Entonces los hijos de Aarón rociarán su sangre sobre el altar por todos los lados(M). Del sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz(N), traerá una ofrenda encendida al Señor: la grasa, la cola entera, que cortará cerca del espinazo, la grasa que cubre las entrañas y toda la grasa que hay sobre las entrañas, 10 los dos riñones con la grasa que está sobre ellos y sobre los lomos, y el lóbulo del hígado, que quitará con los riñones(O). 11 Entonces el sacerdote lo quemará sobre el altar(P) como alimento. Es una ofrenda encendida para el Señor(Q).

12 ”Si su ofrenda es una cabra(R), la ofrecerá delante del Señor. 13 Pondrá su mano sobre su cabeza y la degollará delante de la tienda de reunión. Entonces los hijos de Aarón rociarán su sangre sobre el altar por todos los lados. 14 Después presentará de ella su ofrenda como ofrenda encendida para el Señor: la grasa que cubre las entrañas y toda la grasa que hay sobre las entrañas, 15 los dos riñones con la grasa que está sobre ellos y sobre los lomos, y el lóbulo del hígado, que quitará con los riñones(S). 16 Entonces el sacerdote los quemará sobre el altar como alimento. Es una ofrenda encendida como aroma agradable. Toda la grasa es del Señor(T). 17 Estatuto perpetuo será por todas sus generaciones, dondequiera que ustedes habiten(U): ninguna grasa ni ninguna sangre comerán(V)”».

Laws for Peace Offerings

“If his offering is (A)a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, male or female, (B)he shall offer it (C)without blemish before the Lord. And (D)he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and Aaron's sons the priests shall throw the blood against the sides of the altar. And from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as a food offering to the Lord, he shall offer (E)the fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, (F)and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys. Then Aaron's sons (G)shall burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering, which is on the wood on the fire; it is a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

“If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the Lord is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer it (H)without blemish. If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord, lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it in front of the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. Then from the sacrifice of the peace offering he shall offer as a food offering to the Lord its fat; he shall remove the whole (I)fat tail, cut off close to the backbone, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails 10 and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove (J)with the kidneys. 11 And the priest shall burn it on the altar as (K)a food offering to the Lord.

12 “If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord 13 and lay his hand on its head and kill it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. 14 Then he shall offer from it, as his offering for a food offering to the Lord, the fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails 15 and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove (L)with the kidneys. 16 And the priest shall burn them on the altar as a (M)food offering with a pleasing aroma. (N)All fat is the Lord's. 17 It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither (O)fat nor (P)blood.”

The Peace Offering

‘When his offering is a (A)sacrifice of a peace offering, if he offers it of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it (B)without [a]blemish before the Lord. And (C)he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall (D)sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the Lord. (E)The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; and Aaron’s sons (F)shall burn it on the altar upon the (G)burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire, as an (H)offering made by fire, a (I)sweet aroma to the Lord.

‘If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord is of the flock, whether male or female, (J)he shall offer it without blemish. If he offers a (K)lamb as his offering, then he shall (L)offer it (M)before the Lord. And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.

‘Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord, its fat and the whole fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone. And the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 10 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 11 and the priest shall burn them on the altar as (N)food, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

12 ‘And if his (O)offering is a goat, then (P)he shall offer it before the Lord. 13 He shall lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. 14 Then he shall offer from it his offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lord. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 15 the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; 16 and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; (Q)all the fat is the Lord’s.

17 This shall be a (R)perpetual[b] statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor (S)blood.’ ”
