12 O Senhor disse a Moisés: 2 “Dê as seguintes instruções ao povo de Israel. Se uma mulher engravidar e der à luz um filho, ficará cerimonialmente impura por sete dias, como acontece durante a menstruação. 3 No oitavo dia, circuncidem o menino. 4 Depois de esperar 33 dias, a mulher estará purificada do sangramento do parto. Durante o período de purificação, não deverá tocar em coisa alguma que seja consagrada. Também não poderá entrar no santuário enquanto não terminar o período de purificação. 5 Se a mulher der à luz uma filha, ficará cerimonialmente impura por duas semanas, como acontece durante a menstruação. Depois de esperar 66 dias, estará purificada do sangramento do parto.
6 “Quando se completar o tempo de purificação pelo nascimento de um filho ou de uma filha, a mulher levará um cordeiro de um ano como holocausto e um pombinho ou rolinha para a oferta pelo pecado. Levará as ofertas ao sacerdote à entrada da tenda do encontro. 7 O sacerdote as apresentará ao Senhor para fazer expiação pela mulher. Ela voltará a ficar cerimonialmente pura depois do sangramento do parto. Essas são as instruções para a mulher depois do nascimento de um filho ou de uma filha.
8 “Se a mulher não tiver condições de levar um cordeiro, levará duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos. Um será para o holocausto, e o outro, para a oferta pelo pecado. O sacerdote os sacrificará para fazer expiação pela mulher, e ela ficará cerimonialmente pura”.

12 Y el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles[a]: «Cuando una mujer dé a luz[b] y tenga varón, quedará impura por siete días; como en los días de su menstruación[c](A), será impura. 3 Al octavo día la carne del[d] prepucio del niño será circuncidada(B). 4 Y ella permanecerá en la sangre de su purificación por treinta y tres días; no tocará ninguna cosa consagrada ni entrará al santuario hasta que los días de su purificación sean cumplidos. 5 Pero si da a luz una niña, quedará impura por dos semanas, como en los días de su menstruación[e]; y permanecerá en la sangre de su purificación por sesenta y seis días.
6 »Cuando se cumplan los días de su purificación(C) por un hijo o por una hija, traerá al sacerdote, a la entrada de la tienda de reunión, un cordero de un año como holocausto, y un pichón o una tórtola como ofrenda por el pecado(D). 7 Entonces él los ofrecerá delante del Señor y hará expiación por ella, y quedará limpia del flujo[f] de su sangre. Esta es la ley para la que da a luz, sea hijo o hija. 8 Pero si no le alcanzan los recursos para ofrecer un cordero[g], entonces tomará dos tórtolas o dos pichones(E), uno para el holocausto y el otro para la ofrenda por el pecado(F); y el sacerdote hará expiación por ella, y quedará limpia(G)».

12 Und der Herr redete zu Mose und sprach:
2 Rede zu den Kindern Israels und sprich: Wenn eine Frau schwanger ist und einen Knaben gebiert, so soll sie sieben Tage lang unrein sein; sie soll unrein sein wie in den Tagen, an denen sie abgesondert ist wegen ihres Unwohlseins[a].
3 Und am achten Tag soll man das Fleisch der Vorhaut [des Knaben] beschneiden.
4 Und sie soll 33 Tage lang im Blut ihrer Reinigung daheimbleiben; sie soll nichts Heiliges anrühren und nicht zum Heiligtum kommen, bis die Tage ihrer Reinigung erfüllt sind.
5 Gebiert sie aber ein Mädchen, so soll sie zwei Wochen lang unrein sein wie bei ihrer Absonderung [wegen der Monatsblutung], und sie soll 66 Tage lang daheimbleiben im Blut ihrer Reinigung.
6 Und wenn die Tage ihrer Reinigung erfüllt sind für den Sohn oder für die Tochter, so soll sie zu dem Priester am Eingang der Stiftshütte ein einjähriges Lamm als Brandopfer bringen und eine junge Taube oder eine Turteltaube als Sündopfer.
7 Und er soll es vor dem Herrn darbringen und für sie Sühnung erwirken, so wird sie rein von ihrem Blutfluss. Das ist das Gesetz für die Frau, die einen Knaben oder ein Mädchen gebiert.
8 Kann sie aber den Preis eines Schafes nicht aufbringen, so nehme sie zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben, eine als Brandopfer und die andere als Sündopfer, und der Priester soll für sie Sühnung erwirken, damit sie rein wird.

12 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Say to the Israelites: ‘A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period.(A) 3 On the eighth day(B) the boy is to be circumcised.(C) 4 Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification are over. 5 If she gives birth to a daughter, for two weeks the woman will be unclean, as during her period. Then she must wait sixty-six days to be purified from her bleeding.
6 “‘When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are over,(D) she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting a year-old lamb(E) for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a dove for a sin offering.[a](F) 7 He shall offer them before the Lord to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood.
“‘These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl. 8 But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons,(G) one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering.(H) In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.(I)’”
