¹³ And he shall take a wife in her virginity.^[a]

⁴ It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for ^(A)they are virgins. It is these ^(B)who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as ^(C)firstfruits for God and the Lamb,

² For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since ^(A)I betrothed you to one husband, ^(B)to present you ^(C)as a pure virgin to Christ.

^22 (A)They shall not marry a widow or a divorced woman, but only virgins of the offspring of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest.

^7 (A)They shall not marry a prostitute or a woman who has been defiled, neither shall they marry a woman ^(B)divorced from her husband, for the priest is holy to his God.
