New International Version

21 Rejoice and be glad, Daughter Edom,
    you who live in the land of Uz.(A)
But to you also the cup(B) will be passed;
    you will be drunk and stripped naked.(C)

22 Your punishment will end, Daughter Zion;(D)
    he will not prolong your exile.
But he will punish your sin, Daughter Edom,
    and expose your wickedness.(E)

21 Tu peux être ravie, ╵communauté d’Edom, ╵et exulter[a],
toi qui habites ╵au pays d’Outs[b] :
à toi aussi, ╵on passera la coupe,
tu seras enivrée ╵et tu te mettras toute nue.
22 Ton châtiment aura sa fin, ╵ô communauté de Sion,
Dieu ne te déportera plus.
Communauté d’Edom, ╵il te fera payer tes fautes,
et il fera paraître ╵tes péchés au grand jour.
