Lamentations 3:52-60

⁵² My enemies ^(A)without reason
Hunted me down ^(B)like a bird;
⁵³ They have silenced ^[a]me ^(C)in the pit
And have ^[b](D)thrown stones on me.
⁵⁴ Waters flowed ^(E)over my head;
I said, “I am ^[c]cut off!”
⁵⁵ I ^(F)called on Your name, Lord,
Out of the lowest pit.
⁵⁶ You have ^(G)heard my voice,
“^(H)Do not cover Your ear from my plea for relief,
From my cry for help.”
⁵⁷ You ^(I)came near on the day I called to You;
You said, “^(J)Do not fear!”
⁵⁸ Lord, You ^(K)have pleaded my soul’s cause;
You have ^(L)redeemed my life.
⁵⁹ Lord, You have ^(M)seen my oppression;
^(N)Judge my case.
⁶⁰ You have seen all their vengeance,
All their ^(O)schemes against me.
