Lamentations 3:20-22

²⁰My soul still remembers
And ^[a]sinks within me.
²¹This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have ^(A)hope.

²²^(B)Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions ^(C)fail not.

²⁰My soul continually remembers it
^(A)and is bowed down within me.
²¹But this I call to mind,
and ^(B)therefore I have hope:

²²^(C)The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;^[a]
^(D)his mercies never come to an end;
