Tweede klaaglied – Wat de Heer met Jeruzalem heeft gedaan
2 In zijn woede heeft de Heer het donker laten worden in Jeruzalem.[a]
De stad waar Hij eens in zijn macht en majesteit woonde, heeft Hij verwoest.
Zelfs zijn tempel, zijn voetenbank, heeft Hij vernietigd.
