21 “And (A)I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see (B)my judgment that I have executed, and (C)my hand that I have laid on them. 22 (D)The house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from that day forward. 23 And (E)the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that (F)I hid my face from them and (G)gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. 24 I dealt with them (H)according to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them.

29 (A)And you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet (B)they acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, (C)which if a person does them, he shall live by them, (D)and they turned a stubborn shoulder (E)and stiffened their neck and would not obey. 30 Many years (F)you bore with them (G)and warned them (H)by your Spirit through your prophets. (I)Yet they would not give ear. (J)Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands. 31 Nevertheless, (K)in your great mercies (L)you did not make an end of them or forsake them, (M)for you are a gracious and merciful God.
