11 Herren har givit fritt utlopp åt sin förbittring,
han har utgjutit sin brinnande vrede.
I Sion har han tänt en eld
    som förtärt dess grundvalar.

12 Ingen kung på jorden skulle ha trott det,
ingen som bor i världen,
    att någon ovän eller fiende
skulle komma in
    genom Jerusalems portar.

13 Det har skett för hennes profeters synder
och hennes prästers missgärningar,
    därför att de där inne
