Otoniel libra a Israel de Cusán-risataim
7 Y los hijos de Israel hicieron lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, y olvidaron al Señor su Dios(A), y sirvieron a los baales(B) y a las imágenes de Asera[a](C). 8 Entonces se encendió la ira del Señor contra Israel, y los vendió en manos de Cusán-risataim, rey de Mesopotamia[b]; y los hijos de Israel sirvieron a Cusán-risataim por ocho años. 9 Cuando los hijos de Israel clamaron al Señor, el Señor levantó un libertador a los hijos de Israel para que los librara, a Otoniel, hijo de Cenaz, hermano menor de Caleb(D).

Othniel
7 The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord; they forgot the Lord(A) their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs.(B) 8 The anger of the Lord burned against Israel so that he sold(C) them into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim(D) king of Aram Naharaim,[a](E) to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years. 9 But when they cried out(F) to the Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer,(G) Othniel(H) son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, who saved them.
