26 Mientras aquéllos perdían tiempo, Ehud huyó, y después de pasar los ídolos de Guilgal se refugió en Seirat. 27 Cuando llegó a territorio israelita, dio un toque de trompeta en los montes de Efraín para llamar a los israelitas, y todos ellos bajaron de los montes con Ehud a la cabeza. 28 Ehud les dijo que lo siguieran, pues el Señor les daría la victoria sobre sus enemigos los moabitas. Entonces ellos lo siguieron y tomaron posesión de los vados del Jordán, y no dejaron pasar a nadie.

26 While they waited, Ehud got away. He passed by the stone images and escaped to Seirah. 27 When he arrived there, he blew a trumpet(A) in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went down with him from the hills, with him leading them.
28 “Follow me,” he ordered, “for the Lord has given Moab,(B) your enemy, into your hands.(C)” So they followed him down and took possession of the fords of the Jordan(D) that led to Moab; they allowed no one to cross over.

26 But Ehud had escaped while they delayed, and passed beyond the [a]stone images and escaped to Seirah. 27 And it happened, when he arrived, that (A)he blew the trumpet in the (B)mountains of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mountains; and [b]he led them. 28 Then he said to them, “Follow me, for (C)the Lord has delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they went down after him, seized the (D)fords of the Jordan leading to Moab, and did not allow anyone to cross over.

Then the people of Israel went down with him from the hill country, and he was their leader. 28 And he said to them, “Follow after me, (D)for the Lord has given your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they went down after him and seized (E)the fords of the Jordan against the Moabites and did not allow anyone to pass over.
