10-12 „Akkor éppen jó helyen jársz! — mondta Mika. — Telepedj le nálam, legyél az én papom![a] Ha ezt elfogadod, gondoskodom ételedről, és kapsz évente 10 sékel[b] ezüstöt meg egy rend ruhát”.
A lévita beleegyezett, és Mika papja lett. Attól kezdve ott lakott a házában, ő meg úgy tekintette a fiatal lévitát, mintha a fia lett volna. 13 Mika elégedetten mondta: „Most már látom, hogy az Örökkévaló meg fog áldani, mert egy lévita lett a papom!”
