15 Y ella le respondió:
«Hazme un regalo. Ya que me diste las tierras del Néguev, dame también manantiales.»

16 Los quenitas, que eran descendientes del suegro de Moisés, salieron de la ciudad de las palmeras y se fueron a vivir con los hijos de Judá, en el desierto que está en el Néguev cerca de Arad. 17 Judá acompañó a su hermano Simeón a luchar contra los cananeos que habitaban en Sefat, y los derrotaron, y luego de destruir la ciudad le pusieron por nombre Jormá.

15 She replied, “Do me a special favor. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water.” So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.(A)
16 The descendants of Moses’ father-in-law,(B) the Kenite,(C) went up from the City of Palms[a](D) with the people of Judah to live among the inhabitants of the Desert of Judah in the Negev near Arad.(E)
17 Then the men of Judah went with the Simeonites(F) their fellow Israelites and attacked the Canaanites living in Zephath, and they totally destroyed[b] the city. Therefore it was called Hormah.[c](G)
