26 At daybreak the woman went back to the house where her master was staying, fell down at the door and lay there until daylight.

27 When her master got up in the morning and opened the door of the house and stepped out to continue on his way, there lay his concubine, fallen in the doorway of the house, with her hands on the threshold. 28 He said to her, “Get up; let’s go.” But there was no answer. Then the man put her on his donkey and set out for home.

26 Ya de madrugada, la mujer se desplomó a la entrada de la casa del hombre donde estaba su marido; y allí quedó hasta que fue de día.

27 Por la mañana se levantó su marido, abrió la puerta de la casa y salió para continuar su camino; y vio que la mujer, su concubina, estaba tendida a la entrada de la casa, con las manos sobre el umbral. 28 Y le dijo:

— Levántate, vamos.

Pero ella no respondía. Entonces el hombre la cargó en su asno y se fue a su pueblo.

26 Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.

27 And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.

28 And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.
