Ibzan, Elon, and Abdon Judge Israel
8 Then Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel after him. 9 And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters whom he [a]gave in marriage outside the family, and he brought in thirty daughters from outside for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years. 10 Then Ibzan died and was buried in Bethlehem.

8 After him Ibzan of Bethlehem led[a] Israel. 9 He had thirty sons. He arranged for thirty of his daughters to be married outside his extended family,[b] and he arranged for thirty young women to be brought from outside as wives for his sons.[c] Ibzan[d] led[e] Israel for seven years; 10 then he[f] died and was buried in Bethlehem.
