Judges 11:26-28

26 Why didn’t you take back this territory while the Israelites lived in Heshbon and its villages, in Aroer and its villages, and in all the towns along the branches of the Arnon for three hundred years? 27 I haven’t sinned against you, but you’re doing me wrong by making war against me. Let the Lord, who is the judge, decide today between the Israelites and the Ammonites!”
28 But the Ammonite king refused to listen to the message that Jephthah sent to him.

New International Version
26 For three hundred years Israel occupied(A) Heshbon, Aroer,(B) the surrounding settlements and all the towns along the Arnon. Why didn’t you retake them during that time? 27 I have not wronged you, but you are doing me wrong by waging war against me. Let the Lord, the Judge,(C) decide(D) the dispute this day between the Israelites and the Ammonites.(E)”
28 The king of Ammon, however, paid no attention to the message Jephthah sent him.
