14 And his comrade answered, “This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp.”

15 As soon as Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped. And he returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Arise, for the Lord has given the host of Midian into your hand.” 16 And he divided the 300 men into three companies and put trumpets into the hands of all of them and empty jars, with (A)torches inside the jars.

14 His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash,(A) the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”

15 When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped.(B) He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.”(C) 16 Dividing the three hundred men(D) into three companies,(E) he placed trumpets(F) and empty jars(G) in the hands of all of them, with torches(H) inside.

16 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
