⁸ he sent them a prophet,^(A) who said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of Egypt,^(B) out of the land of slavery.^{(C) 9} I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians. And I delivered you from the hand of all your oppressors;^(D) I drove them out before you and gave you their land.^(E)

⁸ “After Jacob^(A) entered Egypt, they cried^(B) to the Lord for help, and the Lord sent^(C) Moses and Aaron, who brought your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.
