³Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites^(A) and other eastern peoples^(B) invaded the country.

²⁸Concerning ^(A)Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck down.

Thus says the Lord:
^(B)“Rise up, advance against ^(C)Kedar!
Destroy ^(D)the people of the east!

²⁸Concerning Kedar^(A) and the kingdoms of Hazor,^(B) which Nebuchadnezzar^(C) king of Babylon attacked:

This is what the Lord says:

“Arise, and attack Kedar
