¹⁴ Then ^(A)he led away into exile all Jerusalem and all the captains and all the mighty men of valor, ^(B)ten thousand captives, and ^(C)all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained ^(D)except the poorest people of the land.

Baskets of Figs and the Returnees

24 After ^(A)Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the officials of Judah with the craftsmen and smiths from Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon, the Lord showed me: behold, two ^(B)baskets of figs set before the temple of the Lord!

² (This was after King ^(A)Jeconiah and the ^(B)queen mother, the court officials, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the smiths had departed from Jerusalem.)
