11 Six hundred men of the Danite clan, armed with weapons of war, set out from Zorah and Eshtaol, 12 and went up and encamped at Kiriath-jearim in Judah. On this account that place is called Mahaneh-dan[a] to this day; it is west of Kiriath-jearim. 13 From there they passed on to the hill country of Ephraim, and came to the house of Micah.

11 Then six hundred men(A) of the Danites,(B) armed for battle, set out from Zorah and Eshtaol. 12 On their way they set up camp near Kiriath Jearim(C) in Judah. This is why the place west of Kiriath Jearim is called Mahaneh Dan[a](D) to this day. 13 From there they went on to the hill country of Ephraim and came to Micah’s house.(E)
