9 Micah said to him, “Where do you come from?”
He said to him, “I am a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going to stay wherever I can find a place.”
10 Micah said to him, “Live with me, and be a father and a priest for me. I will give you ten silver coins[a] a year, a set of clothes, and food.” So the Levite went in. 11 The Levite decided to live with the man, and the young man became like one of his sons.

10 Then Micah said to him, “Live with me and be my father(B) and priest,(C) and I’ll give you ten shekels[a] of silver a year, your clothes and your food.” 11 So the Levite agreed to live with him, and the young man became like one of his sons to him.
