27 I therefore have not sinned against you, and you do me wrong by making war on me. (A)The Lord, the Judge, decide this day between the people of Israel and the people of Ammon.” 28 But the king of the Ammonites did not listen to the words of Jephthah that he sent to him.

29 (B)Then the Spirit of the Lord was upon Jephthah, and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh and passed on to Mizpah of Gilead, and from Mizpah of Gilead he passed on to the Ammonites.

New International Version
27 I have not wronged you, but you are doing me wrong by waging war against me. Let the Lord, the Judge,(A) decide(B) the dispute this day between the Israelites and the Ammonites.(C)”
28 The king of Ammon, however, paid no attention to the message Jephthah sent him.
29 Then the Spirit(D) of the Lord came on Jephthah. He crossed Gilead and Manasseh, passed through Mizpah(E) of Gilead, and from there he advanced against the Ammonites.(F)
