³¹ “So may all your enemies perish,^(A) Lord!
    But may all who love you be like the sun^(B)
    when it rises in its strength.”^(C)

²⁶ The Lord Almighty will lash^(A) them with a whip,
    as when he struck down Midian^(B) at the rock of Oreb;
and he will raise his staff^(C) over the waters,^(D)
    as he did in Egypt.

⁴ For as in the day of Midian’s defeat,^(A)
    you have shattered^(B)
the yoke^(C) that burdens them,
    the bar across their shoulders,^(D)
    the rod of their oppressor.^(E)

⁹ Do to them as you did to Midian,^(A)
    as you did to Sisera^(B) and Jabin^(C) at the river Kishon,^(D)
10 who perished at Endor^(E)
    and became like dung^(F) on the ground.
¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,^(G)
    all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,^(H)
12 who said, “Let us take possession^(I)
    of the pasturelands of God.”
