⁸ So all the people arose as one man, saying, “None of us will go to his tent, nor will any turn back to his house;

^10 (A)Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your ^(B)might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

Israel’s War with the Benjamites

20 So ^(A)all the children of Israel came out, from ^(B)Dan to ^(C)Beersheba, as well as from the land of Gilead, and the congregation gathered together as one man before the Lord ^(D)at Mizpah.

⁵ The children of Israel said, “Who is there among all the tribes of Israel who did not come up with the assembly to the Lord?” ^(A)For they had made a great oath concerning anyone who had not come up to the Lord at Mizpah, saying, “He shall surely be put to death.”

Wives Provided for the Benjamites

21 Now ^(A)the men of Israel had sworn an oath at Mizpah, saying, “None of us shall give his daughter to Benjamin as a wife.”

¹¹ So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, united together as one man.
