³¹ So they set up Micah's carved image that he made, ^(A)as long as the house of God was at Shiloh.

Allotment of the Remaining Land

18 Then the whole congregation of the people of Israel assembled at ^(A)Shiloh and set up ^(B)the tent of meeting there. The land lay subdued before them.

³ Now this man used to go up ^(A)year by year from his city ^(B)to worship and to sacrifice to the Lord of hosts ^(C)at Shiloh, where the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were priests of the Lord.

¹⁸ And he said to him, “We are passing from Bethlehem in Judah to the remote parts of the hill country of Ephraim, from which I come. I went to Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going ^(A)to the house of the Lord,^{[a] (B)}but no one has taken me into his house.

¹² Go now to ^(A)my place that was in Shiloh, ^(B)where I made my name dwell at first, and ^(C)see what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel.

⁴ So the people sent to Shiloh and brought from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, ^(A)who is enthroned on the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

²¹ and watch. If the daughters of Shiloh come out to ^(A)dance in the dances, then come out of the vineyards and snatch each man his wife from the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
