¹⁵ So they turned aside there, and came to the house of the young Levite man—to the house of Micah—and greeted him.

²⁷ Then he asked them about their well-being, and said, “Is your father well, the old man ^(A)of whom you spoke? Is he still alive?”

^27 (A)Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

^4 (A)Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and ^(B)greet no one along the road. ^5 (C)But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ ⁶ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.

¹² And when you go into a household, greet it. ^13 (A)If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. ^(B)But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

²⁶ Please run now to meet her, and say to her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’ ”
