⁸ The man departed from the city of Bethlehem in Judah to stay wherever he could find a place. Then he came to the mountains of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

¹⁰ I also realized that the portions for the Levites had ^(A)not been given them; for each of the Levites and the singers who did the work had gone back to ^(B)his field. ¹¹ So ^(C)I contended with the rulers, and said, ^(D)“Why is the house of God forsaken?” And I gathered them together and set them in their place.

¹¹ Then the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man became like one of his sons to him.

³³ And ^(A)Eleazar the son of Aaron died. They buried him in a hill belonging to ^(B)Phinehas his son, which was given to him in the mountains of Ephraim.
