⁸ left that town in search of some other place to stay. On his way^[a] he came to Micah’s house in the hill country of Ephraim.

¹⁰ I also learned that the portions assigned to the Levites had not been given to them,^(A) and that all the Levites and musicians responsible for the service had gone back to their own fields.^{(B) 11} So I rebuked the officials and asked them, “Why is the house of God neglected?”^(C) Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts.

¹¹ So the Levite agreed to live with him, and the young man became like one of his sons to him.

³³ And Eleazar son of Aaron^(A) died and was buried at Gibeah,^(B) which had been allotted to his son Phinehas^(C) in the hill country^(D) of Ephraim.
