12 Zebah şi Ţalmuna au luat fuga; Ghedeon i-a urmărit, a prins(A) pe cei doi împăraţi ai Madianului, Zebah şi Ţalmuna, şi a pus pe fugă toată oştirea. 13 Ghedeon, fiul lui Ioas, s-a întors de la luptă prin suişul Heres. 14 A prins dintre cei din Sucot un tânăr pe care l-a întrebat şi care i-a dat în scris numele căpeteniilor şi bătrânilor din Sucot; erau şaptezeci şi şapte de bărbaţi.

12 Zebah and Zalmunna, the two kings of Midian, fled, but he pursued them and captured them, routing their entire army.
13 Gideon son of Joash(A) then returned from the battle by the Pass of Heres.(B) 14 He caught a young man of Sukkoth and questioned him, and the young man wrote down for him the names of the seventy-seven officials of Sukkoth,(C) the elders(D) of the town.
