⁴ For ^(A)certain people ^(B)have crept in unnoticed ^(C)who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert ^(D)the grace of our God into sensuality and ^(E)deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

³ But ^(A)sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness ^(B)must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. ⁴ Let there be ^(C)no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, ^(D)which are out of place, but instead ^(E)let there be thanksgiving. ⁵ For you may be sure of this, that ^(F)everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (^(G)that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest

^25 (A)At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, ^(B)Lord of heaven and earth, that ^(C)you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and ^(D)revealed them to little children; ²⁶ yes, Father, for such was your ^(E)gracious will.^{[a] 27 (F)}All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son ^(G)except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone ^(H)to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. ^28 (I)Come to ^(J)me, all who labor and are ^(K)heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and ^(L)learn from me, for I am ^(M)gentle and lowly in heart, and ^(N)you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For ^(O)my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

^2 (A)By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.
