⁴ For certain people have ^(A)crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand ^[a](B)marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn ^(C)the grace of our God into ^(D)indecent behavior and ^(E)deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

⁸ Yet in the same way these people also, dreaming, ^(A)defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak abusively of angelic ^[a]majesties. ⁹ But ^(B)Michael ^(C)the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about ^(D)the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said, “^(E)The Lord rebuke you!” ¹⁰ But ^(F)these people disparage all the things that they do not understand; and ^(G)all the things that they know by instinct, ^(H)like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed.

¹⁶ These are ^(A)grumblers, finding fault, ^(B)following after their own lusts; ^[a]they speak ^(C)arrogantly, flattering people ^(D)for the sake of gaining an advantage.

Keep Yourselves in the Love of God

¹⁷ But you, ^(E)beloved, ^(F)ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by ^(G)the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁸ that they were saying to you, “^(H)In the last time there will be mockers, ^(I)following after their own ungodly lusts.” ¹⁹ These are the ones who cause divisions, ^[b](J)worldly-minded, ^[c]devoid of the Spirit.
