²⁰ But you, beloved, ^(A)building yourselves up in your most holy faith and ^(B)praying in the Holy Spirit, ^21 (C)keep yourselves in the love of God, ^(D)waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

¹⁷ ‘Ah, Lord God! It is ^(A)you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by ^(B)your outstretched arm! ^(C)Nothing is too hard for you.

^12 (A)Fight the good fight of the faith. ^(B)Take hold of the eternal life ^(C)to which you were called and about which you made ^(D)the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

²⁴ Until now you have asked nothing in my name. ^(A)Ask, and you will receive, ^(B)that your joy may be full.

²¹ Therefore ^(A)put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with ^(B)meekness the implanted word, ^(C)which is able to save your souls.
