Now I want to (A)remind you, though (B)you know everything once and for all, that [a]the Lord, (C)after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, [b]subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. And (D)angels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling place, these He has (E)kept in eternal restraints under darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as (F)Sodom and Gomorrah and the (G)cities around them, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in sexual perversion and (H)went after [c]strange flesh, are exhibited as an [d](I)example in undergoing the (J)punishment of eternal fire.

And the angels who did not keep their [a]proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as (B)Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the [b]vengeance of eternal fire.
