Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you (A)concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting (B)you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

(B)Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, (C)saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless (D)the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord (E)knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of [c]Christ depart from iniquity.”
