¹⁴ It was also about these that Enoch, ^(A)the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, ^(B)“Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones,

² He said,

⁵ By faith ^(A)Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. ⁶ And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God ^(B)must believe that he exists and ^(C)that he rewards those who seek him.

⁷ and to grant ^(A)relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when ^(B)the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven ^(C)with his mighty angels ^8 (D)in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those ^(E)who do not know God and on those who ^(F)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

¹³ so that he may ^(A)establish your hearts blameless in holiness before ^(B)our God and Father, at ^(C)the coming of our Lord Jesus ^(D)with all his saints.

^27 (A)For the Son of Man is going to come with ^(B)his angels in the glory of his Father, and ^(C)then he will repay each person according to what he has done.

The Final Judgment

^31 (A)“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, ^(B)then he will sit on his glorious throne.

³⁰ Then ^(A)will appear in heaven ^(B)the sign of the Son of Man, and then ^(C)all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and ^(D)they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven ^(E)with power and great glory. ³¹ And ^(F)he will send out his angels with a loud ^(G)trumpet call, and they will ^(H)gather ^(I)his elect from ^(J)the four winds, ^(K)from one end of heaven to the other.
