2 (A)May mercy and peace and love (B)be multiplied to you.
3 (C)Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our (D)common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you exhorting that you (E)contend earnestly for (F)the faith which was once for all (G)handed down to (H)the [a]saints. 4 For certain persons have (I)crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand [b](J)marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn (K)the grace of our God into (L)sensuality and (M)deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

2 Mercy, peace(A) and love be yours in abundance.(B)
The Sin and Doom of Ungodly People
3 Dear friends,(C) although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share,(D) I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend(E) for the faith(F) that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.(G) 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about[a] long ago have secretly slipped in among you.(H) They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.(I)
