Apostates Depraved and Doomed

¹² These are ^[a]spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried ^[b]about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;

^17 (A)These are wells without water, ^[a]clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness ^[b]forever.

Deceptions of False Teachers

¹⁸ For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who ^[c]have actually escaped from those who live in error. ¹⁹ While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of ^[d]corruption; ^(B)for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into ^[e]bondage. ²⁰ For if, after they ^(C)have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are ^(D)again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

¹³ But He answered and said, ^(A)“Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

^19 (A)whose end is destruction, ^(B)whose god is their belly, and ^(C)whose glory is in their shame—^(D)who set their mind on earthly things.

¹⁴ that we should no longer be ^(A)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of ^(B)deceitful plotting,
