Judas
Nueva Biblia de las Américas

Saludo

1 Judas(A), siervo de Jesucristo(B) y hermano de Jacobo[a], a los llamados(C), amados[b] en Dios Padre y guardados para Jesucristo(D): 2 Misericordia, paz y amor(E) les sean multiplicados(F).

Motivo de la carta

3 Amados(G), por el gran empeño que tenía en escribirles acerca de nuestra común salvación(H), he sentido la necesidad de escribirles exhortándolos a luchar ardientemente(I) por la fe(J) que de una vez para siempre fue entregada(K) a los santos(L). 4 Pues algunos hombres se han infiltrado encubiertamente(M), los cuales desde mucho antes estaban marcados[c](N) para esta condenación, impíos que convierten la gracia de nuestro Dios(O) en libertinaje(P), y niegan a nuestro único Soberano y Señor, Jesucristo(Q).

Advertencias de la historia para los impíos

5 Ahora quiero recordarles(R) a ustedes, aunque ya definitivamente[d] lo saben todo(S), que el Señor[e], habiendo salvado al[f] pueblo de la tierra de Egipto(T), destruyó después[g] a los que no creyeron. 6 Y a los ángeles que no conservaron su señorío original(U), sino que abandonaron su morada legítima, los ha guardado en prisiones[h] eternas(V) bajo tinieblas, para el juicio del gran día. 7 Así también Sodoma y Gomorra(W) y las ciudades circunvecinas(X), a semejanza de aquellos, puesto que ellas[i] se corrompieron[j] y siguieron carne extraña(Y), son exhibidas como ejemplo(Z) al sufrir el castigo del fuego eterno[k](AA). 8 No obstante, de la misma manera también estos hombres, soñando, contaminan su cuerpo, rechazan la autoridad, y blasfeman de las majestades angélicas[l](AB).

9 Pero cuando el arcángel(AC) Miguel(AD) luchaba contra el diablo y discutía acerca del cuerpo de Moisés(AE), no se atrevió a proferir juicio de maldición contra él, sino que dijo: «El Señor te reprenda(AF)». 10 Pero estos blasfeman las cosas que no entienden(AG), y las cosas que como animales irracionales(AH) conocen por instinto(AI), por estas cosas son ellos destruidos[m]. 11 ¡Ay de ellos! Porque han seguido el camino de Caín(AJ), y por ganar dinero se lanzaron al[n] error de Balaam(AK), y perecieron en la rebelión de Coré(AL). 12 Estos son escollos ocultos en los ágapes de ustedes[o](AM), cuando banquetean con ustedes sin temor(AN), apacentándose[p] a sí mismos. Son nubes sin agua(AO) llevadas por los vientos(AP), árboles de otoño sin fruto, dos veces muertos y desarraigados(AQ). 13 Son olas furiosas del mar(AR), que arrojan como espuma su propia vergüenza(AS); estrellas errantes para quienes la oscuridad de las tinieblas ha sido reservada para siempre(AT).

14 De estos también profetizó Enoc(AU), en la séptima generación desde Adán, diciendo: «El Señor vino con muchos millares de Sus santos[q](AV), 15 para ejecutar juicio sobre todos(AW), y para condenar a todos los impíos[r] de todas sus obras de impiedad, que han hecho impíamente, y de todas las cosas ofensivas[s] que pecadores impíos dijeron contra Él(AX)». 16 Estos son murmuradores(AY), criticones, que andan tras sus propias pasiones(AZ). Hablan[t] con arrogancia(BA), adulando a la gente para obtener beneficio(BB).

Exhortaciones apostólicas a los fieles

17 Pero ustedes, amados(BC), acuérdense de las palabras que antes fueron dichas(BD) por los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo(BE), 18 quienes les decían[u]: «En los últimos tiempos habrá burladores(BF) que irán tras sus propias pasiones impías(BG)». 19 Estos son los que causan divisiones. Son individuos mundanos[v] que no tienen el Espíritu(BH).

20 Pero ustedes, amados(BI), edificándose(BJ) en su santísima fe, orando en el Espíritu Santo(BK), 21 consérvense en el amor de Dios, esperando ansiosamente la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para vida eterna(BL). 22 Tengan misericordia de[w] algunos que dudan. 23 A otros, sálvenlos, arrebatándolos del fuego(BM); y de otros tengan misericordia con temor, aborreciendo aun la ropa contaminada por la carne[x](BN).

Bendición

24 Y a Aquel que es poderoso(BO) para guardarlos a ustedes sin caída[y] y para presentarlos sin mancha en presencia de Su gloria(BP) con gran alegría(BQ), 25 al único(BR) Dios nuestro Salvador(BS), por medio de Jesucristo nuestro Señor, sea gloria, majestad, dominio y autoridad(BT), antes de todo tiempo, y ahora y por todos los siglos(BU). Amén.

1 예수 그리스도의 종이며 야고보의 형제인 나 유다가 하나님의 부르심을 받은 모든 사람에게 이 편지를 씁니다. 여러분은 하나님 아버지께서 사랑하시며, 예수 그리스도께서 안전하게 지켜 주시는 사람들입니다.

2 자비와 평화와 사랑이 여러분에게 가득하기를 빕니다.

하나님께서 그릇된 일 하는 사람들을 벌하실 것이다

3 사랑하는 여러분, 본래 나는 우리 모두가 함께 누리고 있는 구원에 관하여 여러분에게 편지를 써 보내고 싶었습니다. 그러던 참에 여러분에게 간곡히 부탁하는 편지를 써야 할 필요를 느껴 이렇게 쓰게 되었습니다. 그 부탁이란, 하나님께서 성도들에게 한 번 결정적으로 맡기신 믿음[a]을 위하여 열심히 싸우라는 것입니다. 4 어떤 사람들이 여러분 가운데로 몰래 들어갔기 때문에 이렇게 부탁하는 것입니다. 그들은 옛날부터 정죄를 받기로 미리 성경에 기록되어 있는 자들입니다. 그들은 경건치 못한 자들이며, 우리 하나님의 은혜를 함부로 놀아나도 좋다는 허락쯤으로 여기는 자들입니다. 그리고 오직 한 분이신 우리의 주인이시며 주님이신 예수 그리스도와의 관계를 끊어 버린 자들입니다.

5 여러분이 이미 알고 있겠지만 내가 다시 여러분에게 일깨워 드리려고 하는 것은 다음과 같은 사실입니다. 주[b] 께서는 당신의 백성을 이집트에서 구해 내셨습니다. 그러나 그 뒤에 믿지 않은 사람들을 모두 멸하셨습니다. 6 그리고 하나님께서 자기들에게 주신 권세의 영역 안에 머무르지 않고 자기들이 사는 곳을 떠난 천사들이 있었습니다. 그때에 주께서 이 천사들을 영원한 쇠사슬로 묶어, 가장 깊은 어둠 속에 가두어 두셨습니다. 그들은 큰 심판의 날까지 거기에 있을 것입니다. 7 소돔과 고모라와 그 둘레에 있던 다른 도시들을 기억하십시오. 그들도 앞서 말한 천사들과 마찬가지로 부도덕한 성적 죄에 빠지고 비정상적인 육체의 욕망을 좇았습니다.[c] 그 도시들은 영원한 불의 형벌을 받음으로써, 우리 모두에게 본보기가 되었습니다.

8 이와 마찬가지로 이 사람들도 몽상에 빠져서 자신들의 몸을 더럽히고, 하나님의 권위를 거부하고, 영광스러운 천사들을 헐뜯어 말합니다. 9 그러나 천사장미가엘은 그렇게 하지 않았습니다. 미가엘은 모세의 주검을 누가 가질 것인지를 놓고 악마와 다투었습니다. 그러나 미가엘은 차마 모욕적인 말로 악마를 정죄하지는 않았습니다. 미가엘은 다만 “주께서 너를 벌하시기를 바란다.” 라고 말했을 뿐입니다. 10 그러나 이 사람들은 그들이 이해하지 못하는 것은 무엇이나 헐뜯어 말합니다. 더러 그들이 아는 것이 있기는 하지만, 그들은 이것들을 이성이 없는 짐승과 같이 본능으로 알 뿐입니다. 그런데 이것들은 그들을 망하게 하는 것들입니다.

11 그들에게 화가 미칠 것입니다. 그들은 가인의 길을 갔으며, 돈을 벌기 위해 발람이 갔던 그릇된 길로 뛰어들었습니다. 그들은 고라[d]처럼 하나님께 반역하다가 고라처럼 망했습니다.

12 이 사람들은 여러분의 사랑의 식탁을 더럽히는 자들입니다. 그들은 여러분과 함께 앉아서 염치없이 먹어 대기 때문입니다. 그들은 자신만을 돌보는 목자들입니다. 그들은 바람에 밀려다니기만 하고 비 한 방울 내리지 못하는 뜬구름입니다. 또 추수 때가 되어도 열매 하나 맺지 못해서 뿌리째 뽑히고 마는, 그래서 두 번 죽는 나무입니다. 13 그리고 자기들의 부끄러운 짓을 거침없이 뿜어 올리는 사나운 파도요, 정처 없이 하늘을 떠도는 별들입니다. 이런 사람들을 영원히 가두기 위해 더할 나위 없이 짙은 어둠이 마련되어 있습니다.

14 아담의 일곱 번째 자손인 에녹이 바로 이런 사람들을 두고 이렇게 예언하였습니다. “보라, 주께서 수만 명의 거룩한 천사를 데리고 오신다. 15 모든 사람을 심판하러 오신다. 모든 불경건한 자들이 저지른 온갖 불경건한 행실을 들추어내어 그들을 정죄하러 오신다. 불경건한 죄인들이 하나님을 거슬러 말한 모든 모진 말을 들추어내어 그들을 정죄하러 오신다.”

16 이들은 불평꾼들이요 흠잡기 좋아하는 사람들입니다. 그들은 자신들의 악한 욕망을 좇습니다. 그리고 허풍을 떨다가도, 이익을 챙기기 위해서는 남에게 아첨을 합니다.

조심할 것, 해야 할 것

17 사랑하는 여러분, 여러분은 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 사도들이 앞서 한 말을 기억하십시오. 18 그들이 여러분에게 이렇게 말하였습니다. “마지막 때가 되면 하나님을 비웃는 사람들이 나타나, 자신들의 불경건한 욕정을 따라 살 것이다.” 19 이런 사람들이 바로 여러분을 갈라놓는 사람들입니다. 그들은 본능적인 욕정을 따라 살 뿐, 성령을 모시고 있지 않았습니다.

20 그러나 사랑하는 여러분, 여러분은 가장 거룩한 여러분의 믿음의 터전 위에 자신들을 굳건히 세우십시오. 그리고 성령 안에서 기도하십시오. 21 영원한 생명에 이르게 하는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 자비를 기다리면서, 하나님의 사랑 안에 머무십시오.

22 의심을 품은 사람들을 불쌍히 여기십시오. 23 어떤 사람들은 불[e]에서 끌어내어 구원해 내십시오. 그리고 어떤 사람들에게는 자비를 베푸십시오. 그러나 그들의 죄에 물들지 않도록[f] 두려운 마음으로 하십시오.

하나님을 찬양하라

24 여러분이 넘어지지 않게 지켜 주시고, 아무런 흠이 없는 사람들로 당신의 영광 앞에 기쁨에 넘쳐 나서게 하실 수 있는 분, 25 곧 우리의 구주이시고 오직 한 분이신 하나님께, 영광과 위엄과 주권과 권세가, 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여, 영원 전부터 이제와 영원까지 있기를 빕니다. 아멘.

1 Jude,(A) a servant of Jesus Christ(B) and a brother of James,

To those who have been called,(C) who are loved in God the Father and kept for[a] Jesus Christ:(D)

2 Mercy, peace(E) and love be yours in abundance.(F)

The Sin and Doom of Ungodly People

3 Dear friends,(G) although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share,(H) I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend(I) for the faith(J) that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.(K) 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about[b] long ago have secretly slipped in among you.(L) They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.(M)

5 Though you already know all this,(N) I want to remind you(O) that the Lord[c] at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.(P) 6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.(Q) 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah(R) and the surrounding towns(S) gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.(T)

8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.(U) 9 But even the archangel(V) Michael,(W) when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses,(X) did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”[d](Y) 10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.(Z)

11 Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain;(AA) they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error;(AB) they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.(AC)

12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts,(AD) eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves.(AE) They are clouds without rain,(AF) blown along by the wind;(AG) autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted(AH)—twice dead. 13 They are wild waves of the sea,(AI) foaming up their shame;(AJ) wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.(AK)

14 Enoch,(AL) the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming(AM) with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones(AN) 15 to judge(AO) everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”[e](AP) 16 These people are grumblers(AQ) and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires;(AR) they boast(AS) about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

A Call to Persevere

17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles(AT) of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.(AU) 18 They said to you, “In the last times(AV) there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.”(AW) 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.(AX)

20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up(AY) in your most holy faith(AZ) and praying in the Holy Spirit,(BA) 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait(BB) for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.(BC)

22 Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire;(BD) to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.[f](BE)

Doxology

24 To him who is able(BF) to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence(BG) without fault(BH) and with great joy— 25 to the only God(BI) our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!(BJ) Amen.(BK)
