6 Alalahanin din ninyo ang mga anghel na hindi nanatili sa kanilang dating kalagayan at kapangyarihan, sa halip ay iniwan ang kanilang tahanan. Kaya't sila'y ginapos ng Diyos ng di mapapatid na tanikala at ibinilanggo sa malalim na kadiliman, hanggang sa sila'y hatulan sa dakilang Araw ng Paghuhukom. 7 Alalahanin(A) din ninyo na ang Sodoma at Gomorra at mga karatig-lungsod ay nalulong sa kahalayan at di-likas na pagnanasa ng laman, kaya't sila'y pinarusahan sa apoy na hindi namamatay bilang babala sa lahat.
8 Ganyan din ang mga taong ito, dahil sa kanilang mga pangitain ay dinudungisan nila ang[a] kanilang sariling katawan, hinahamak nila ang maykapangyarihan at nilalait ang mariringal na anghel.

6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.(A) 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah(B) and the surrounding towns(C) gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.(D)
8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.(E)

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

6 Y a los ángeles que no conservaron su señorío original(A), sino que abandonaron su morada legítima, los ha guardado en prisiones[a] eternas(B) bajo tinieblas, para el juicio del gran día. 7 Así también Sodoma y Gomorra(C) y las ciudades circunvecinas(D), a semejanza de aquellos, puesto que ellas[b] se corrompieron[c] y siguieron carne extraña(E), son exhibidas como ejemplo(F) al sufrir el castigo del fuego eterno[d](G). 8 No obstante, de la misma manera también estos hombres, soñando, contaminan su cuerpo, rechazan la autoridad, y blasfeman de las majestades angélicas[e](H).
